Some Recent Outtings and Pictures

Today was my day off. I got up early to meet some guys from work for sushi (mmm... sushi breakfast) and nerdy Japan/video game talk. Decided today was a day to do something with myself, so I've been updating my calendar and organizing.

Since I posted my old ones last time...

Cute, cute, cute ♪

A couple of weeks ago I went to a family reunion. A short, small event, but still a good reason for wearing my new dress.

ca. $25 @ Rue21

The edit on that photo was accidental and blows my mind.

Some time after that (I believe), mum and I went downtown one day for delicious bacon, apple and cheese sandwiches at the Harvest Moon Cafe and to wander around the shops. The outfit has been seen before, but I got to try a cute dango-style updo with one of my usamimi hair-twists from Primark.

After foods and shoppings, we wandered into the Honey Moon Bakery next door and bought treats.

Sundae Cupcake

It was too cute and looked so convincingly like ice cream, I had to get it. Of course, three bites in and I was ready for diabetic coma.

But just... Look at it.

Cut & Paste!

Today my mum was enforcing me to clean the computer room by coming up and pulling everything out in the floor and asking me what it was, so I've been sneezing up dust all day trying to get rid of stuff. I guess it was a good thing to do, though, since I found some old letters and stuff from Jiroko and Yen that I need to put somewhere special. <3

I preserve everything, jaja.

Among the stuff I found, were these old agendas from freshman and sophomore years of college, where I decorated the front with cut-paste collage art. Since it's one of my favorite things to do, I wanted to post them.

L: freshman year / R: sophomore year

At Waseda University for my junior year, I just used a Japanese planner from Loft, and this past year I just didn't plan anything, ja. XD

Girl was definitely a KERA cut out and the Japanese lady is probably from a Smithsonian brochure. And that was back where Shou (alice nine.) was still pretty, so NO REGRETS.

Another KERA cutout, definitely, but this from the Street Snaps I think. I lol to think some part-time karaoke uketsuke/biology student living in Nagoya was on the front of my planner for a year, but whatev. The little box photos are from an ad for a design college.

In addition to these, before them, when I lived in Japan in 2006-2007, I decorate this box from the Daiso to store my purikura in:

Some customary Ruki (the GazettE), An Cafe (Bou era), and pretty Shou, and another random street snap girl from KERA, though I'm pretty sure at least she's a shop staff.

I like the checkered sides. <3

It's now a collective memorandum of polaroids, Korean dvds, Gazette pass cases and...

An epic amount of unused Kitty-chan phone straps.

September already!?

This is how I feel most of the time.

I have become even more crap at keeping track of things, in the past months, it seems. Since I started working at the cafe in July, I just work and work and lose track of what's going on around me. There's not much to relate, other than that I bum about my house and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer or The X-Files.

Oh, and work on this magical book I found at work:

I cannot draw the god damn trolley! DX

Looking around at other people's blogs, though, I feel like there has been a big gap of blaaaaah for a good number of bloggers over the past month or two.

Here's to hoping that clears up soon.

And now I'm off to work. Again.
